The '72 club of Boston held an informal meeting at Walter Brown Rink (Boston U.) to watch the BU-Dartmouth ECAC hockey quarter final. Unfortunately, Dartmouth held a rather informal meeting that night as well, and ended up on the short end of an 8-0 score. Still, it was the first time in many moons that the Big Green got that far, and with a young team, no less. The bozos attending were the usual crowd, highlighted by Fuzzy Thurston and T-Ball, whose misadventures will not be reconstructed in deference to the weak of stomach.

Rob Shepherd informed me that he is living in Montreal and is attending McGill Med School where he has finished exams and is now in ward training. He confirmed my suspicions that BarryJones is a second year student at Virginia Law. In the conclusion of his missive, Rob laid a joke on me. I'll spare you by not repeating it here, except for the punch line: "You get repossessed." Fill in the correct straight line and you will receive an all-expense paid dinner date with Broom Hilda at the Hotel Creton in Schubert Falls, Mont.

Dave "Gator" Bailey (Tuck School) dropped a line to let me know that the Hanover '72s are no better than they ever were. Apparently BobKing's woman isn't totally pleased with him since her latest present to "Big Red" was a copy of The Joy of Sex. Kinger can read it between UCLA games and his work with Vista at a Long Island. Recreation center.

Gator also stated that Nico and Dico are still very close. When asked if he were going to have a Carnival date, Nico said "No, Dico's got an away game." As for Gator, it looks like a job with Chase Manhattan after graduation in June: the Rebel goes to the Big City!

In a rather unique communication I learned that Chip Carstensen, Jerry Birch, JimGottschalk, Bob Kirkpatrick, and John VanKurin are all working on MBA's at U. Chicago. Now, some of this has been mentioned before and it is pretty standard news, but it was the communicator that made this news different. The letter was written by one Les Wasinski who tells me that he was the janitor for Gile Hall while these guys were there. He says he read the column and wanted me to know about his boys. Les is presently vacationing in Chicago(?) with his wife, using up his B and G severance pay. He must be quite a guy - hats off to a janitor who cared and undoubtedly had a lasting effect on his boys. Somewhere, someone is smiling. . . .

Bob Tsigonis is working for an engineering outfit in Fairbanks, Alaska, but is talking earnestly about returning to the contiguous states - something about an encounter with a Polar Bear. Bill "BWAT" White, at Oregon getting an MA in Special Education, has become an avid Duck fan and is still high from their win over UCLA.

Summer law jobs are lined up for Jim Birchall (Rochester, N.Y., law firm) and Bill Schur (Chicago firm - give my regards to the mayor). Rogih Yazgi was named to Harvard Law Review, and similar honors went to Jack Manning and Mike Moore at Stanford.

John Sharer, however, points up the other side of the coin. With the honor of law review goes a great deal of hard, time-consuming work. John made law review at Penn but dropped out so that he could devote full time to his courses. He did, however, serve as best man for Bill Roberts when he married the former Ingrid Carlson on March 30. Our congratulations to Bill who is employed by Aetna Life and Casualty as a home office representative in Philadelphia.

Dan Cooperman leaves the sunny dimes of Stanford to cavort in the concrete wonderfulness of NYC as an investment banker for Morgan Stanley. He is presently stocking up on cigars and derbies for the big trip (and he is taking his infamous umbrella out of mothballs"

Now it's time for a few announcements First, our 5th-Year Reunion chairman is Bud Lynch. This is a tough job which will take a lot of time and effort. Cooperation is a necessary element, so if and when Buddy solicits your aid, do what you can. It's basically a thankless job, so let's make it as easy for him as possible.

Our new newsletter editors are Jeff Stimson, RFD 1, Lisbon, N.H. 03585 and Jeff Clear, 19 Sachem Village, West Lebanon, N.H., 03784. They, too, need information, so if you fear that my distortions will render your news unfit, and if you have a Big Green opinion to express, send your thoughts along to either of the Jeffs.

Finally, I would like to announce Dartmouth in San Francisco, May 17, 18 and 19, consisting of social gatherings, informal and formal seminars and discussions, a cruise, food and drink and speakers. It is a unique weekend with all alumni invited. Registration will be $15 for our class with a few extra charges for certain events. General information may be obtained by writing Dartmouth in San Francisco, Derek T. Knudsen '65, Suite 2424, One California St., San Francisco, Calif. 94111.

A note from Fabian Ropogol informed me that he and Wilma have split up and a divorce is contemplated. The problem began with Wilma's demand for a bigger household budget. Fabian refused, and a cold war ensued. Finally, Wilma offered to negotiate her demands, but when Fabian refused to dicker, she left him and returned to her mother in Dubuque. Our regrets to Fabian and our wish that all works out for the best.

With baseball in the air, Ghort has caught !he fever, and now refuses to process our garbage without at least two slices of Yaz bread.
