Our 70th Reunion has come and gone. Now start to plan for our 75th. Seven members of the class came. They were Sandoe, Greeley, Hinds, McCrillis, Martin, Webster, and Lovejoy. Four marched in the parade and several carried their senior canes. This was noticed as we marched behind the 1919 banner and occasioned considerable applause.
As usual, we had a class picture and a class meeting. At the latter it was voted to increase the dues to $25. This was necessary to fund the book program and the Alumni Magazine.
The highlight was the dinner on Saturday night, at which there were about 35 present. The increased number was 'due to relatives and friends of classmates.
The only sour note was the weather. It was rainy and cool.
We mourn the passing of Earl Blaik. An honorary member of the class, he maintained his interest in Dartmouth long after he had retired from coaching at West Point. Once he made a sizable contribution to the College and wrote the class secretary to make sure the class got credit. He was an unusual and great man.
