Late in September I went down to Garden City to see Bob Paisley. He had been in the hospital for a month and was a little weak, but he said he felt much better. Bob has had several operations in the last few years and, to quote him, "There isn't anything more for the doctors to operate on." He has a housekeeper, who takes good care of him. He was looking forward to driving again so he can drive around town.

Recently I talked to Elmer Pillsbury, who was back in Newton after spending the summer in Maine. He goes to Englewood, Fla., early in January. The Sandoes and the McCrillises went to the Yale game. Red Moxon and his wife were at the B.U. game. Others were there in all probability, but I have had no reports.

Nock Wallis is having meetings with the College about the Alumni Fund and other funding activities in connection with the 60th reunion. We will get the details in due time.

We have received reports of the deaths of Nelson Bowles and Frederick Thomas. Nelson had been living in Eureka, Calif., and Fred in Johnstown, Pa.

I talked to Red Murphy on the occasion of his birthday. Red says he is slowing down. Who isn't? He lives in the old family homestead in Baldwinville, Mass., and has remained a bachelor.

During February and March your humble secretary expects to be at the Highland Park Club in Lake Wales, Fla.

The class officers wish every member of the Class a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
