The days are heating up and so are plans for our 25th reunion. June 1978 is not far away. The reunion committee is enthusiastically working to oive every member of the Class an opportunity to share in the planning of the reunion. By now everybody has received the questionnaire which will let us know your preference for a wide variety of suggested activities. Everyone's help is needed; the questionnaires should be returned to Fred England at once.
We also have all received Don Goss's letter requesting a passport-size photo and biographical report. Don and Pete Grenquist are going to put together a book that will be as memorable as the Aegis.
Plans are also underway for a giant minireunion in Boston for the Harvard game, October 14-15. Joan and Bernie Sudikoff will be in charge. The mini-reunion scheduled for the Brown game in Hanover, November 4 and 5, will be run by Carol and Bob Henderson. Make reservations now at the Norwich Inn.
Paul Paganucci, who is currently the investment officer of the College and a professor of business administration at Tuck School, has been promoted to vice president by the Board of Trustees of the College.
Phil Fenton is getting married July 30 to Sylvia Buskey of Baltimore. Phil says she stands five feet one, weighs 105 pounds, and is very beautiful. England is her original home, and she's been in the States for two and a half years. The honeymoon will be in the United Kingdom.
Put Blodgett is still at it and doing it successfully. At the U.S. National Cross Country Championships back in January, he came in third in the Men's Veterans Class 3.
Bob Stiles reports that his daughter Julie has received an early decision acceptance to the Class of 1981. Naturally, they are thrilled.
Ken Snell escaped the snow this summer on a three-week photographic safari with his daughter in East Africa.
Len Gochman is temporarily forsaking music to try straight drama. The play, EmmaInstigated Me, is showing off-Broadway at the American Place Theater.
Jack and Phoebe Runyon became grandparents over Christmas. Their daughter Ann had a son. The farm had a lot of snow this year, but hay and 14 cords of wood kept the cirtters going and the house warm.
And finally, Ollie Conover has joined the ranks of dramatic change makers. After 21 years in the insurance business, he was getting stale. The opportunity came to become assistant superintendent for development at Valley Forge Military Academy and Junior College, Wayne, a. He will be responsible for all public relations and all fund-raising efforts. Ollie graduated rom there before coming to Dartmouth and has always been active in its alumni affairs. He served on the board of directors for six years. At College, Ollie was regimental commander of the ROTC unit. He truly believes in what he will be doing because in his opinion, it is vital to continue secondary military school education as an a Ornate choice for young men.
