The sad news is that three more of our classmates have departed. They are Rudy Horky Jr., John St. Mary, and Bert Blake Jr. We will miss them.

During the reunion Nick Turkevich persuaded about 25 of us to join him in sending to all members of the class "Dartmouth Currents." This newsletter, published ten times a year by the Office of Alumni Affairs, gives a more accurate description of Dartmouth activities than is sometimes found in other media.

Tom George sends a postcard from Drobak, Norway, where he is again spending the summer. There was a great color photo of him in the Summer issue of this magazine and a story of his impressive show and lectures at the Hood Museum.

We enjoyed seeing Peg and Lloyd Blanchard during their visit to Cape Cod for a well-deserved recuperation from the responsibilities of chairman of reunion giving.

My admiration for Dick Bowman continues to grow as I become aware of the huge volume of correspondence he produced during his five years as class secretary.

By the time you read this we will already have had our September mini-reunion. I hope to have seen you there.
