Lots of news from our classmates the economy may be standing still, but not our classmates. Bill LaBiche, a founding principal in the Princeton, N.J., architectural firm of LaRiche, Hold & Morgan, has been chosen to create the renderings for the school's trustees in the implementation of the school's masterplan. Bill's firm's proposal was chosen over many other submissions based upon "accessibility, artistic distinction and a proven track record .. Maybe he can help Roger Hull with his master plan for Union College?

In the world of corporate consulting, Dan Dimancescu, President of TSG, a Cambridge-based consulting company, announced that his company has been chosen for a significant contract with Boeing. Tom Parkinson, Director of the MBA Program at Moravian College, Bethlehem, Pa., reports his extreme disappointment in the attack on school tradition made during the Valedictory and Commencement Address speeches at the College. The aforementioned John Lane reports that renowned foreign language Professor John Rassias, who Tom has known since College days, gave the commencement address at Moravian. Tom's son Michael '91, an ex- tremely talented artist, received one of the most sought-after national scholarships in Art—the Beinecke Scholarship for graduate study. Michael is Dartmouth's first successful applicant for that scholarship in 13 years. He also received a senior fellowship.

leadership to be a member of the board of directors of the Pease Development Authority. Effective January 1, Pease has been commissioned to take charge of the development of the largest (soon to be former) military bases in New England. The Pease Corporation is reported to have become one of the largest corporations in the state, owning thousands of acres of land valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Bob has been head of the Environmental Cleanup Advisory Committee, and is particularly concerned with protection of the Great Bay and with hazardous waste on the site and in ground water.

Bob will have a big job in front of him since he'll have to juggle his new position with his partnership in the state's largest law firm, Sheehan, Phinney, Bass & Green. Bob specializes in corporate banking and securities law, and is a director of the Bank of New Hampshire Corp., as well as other public and private interests.
