Kudos for Larry our goal to the Fund was $78,000. We gave $95,254. Total for the College $11,604,475, with participation rate over 60 percent. The class did very creditably. Our director praises Larry for setting the pace.
Never a dull week for Peter Blodgett he had a light heart attack in mid-July, but he rallied strong and his spirits are way up. He says he's completely recovered, and he fished off the rocks at Marion, on the Cape, with great success. Louise paid a month's visit and will be back. Mollie Bates has had much eye surgery. She faces a second cataract operation and possibly a transplant, but she keeps cheerful. When she asked the doc's advice he said, "laugh and joke a lot." Betty Crawford cheers us with news that grandson Henry Crawford Palmer, back-up center on the championship Duke basketball team, is transferring to Dartmouth this fall. His brother Walter '90 is with the Utah Jazz.
Greg Rozycki, grandson of Ford andGertrude Whelden and Hanover High student, was named All-America from New Hampshire in lacrosse for the second year. He enters Brown in the fall.
