Introducing this month's guest columnist, Tee Lotson.

"I've decided to take matters into my own hands and am writing to all of you directly. First and foremost, I DO NOT work in the legislative branch of the NCAA I am in ENFORCEMENT!!! I wear my bad guy hat proudly.

"Steve Warren is hot. He represents one of the new screenwriter/director sensations in the Land of LaLa. Congrats Steve, remember us during the Oscars—front row center is fine with me.

"Kathy Brisco has moved into a new apartment and had a wild party, not necessarily in that order. Based on a good tip that her furnishings were all hot, the party was raided by the police and the FBI. Somehow Briscoe escaped and was last seen doing 35 on the freeway.

"Speaking of hot, word has it that JoeReinkemeyer has left the law firm of Latham & Watkins and is writing television pilots with a partner. I hear that agents are fighting over the right to represent him. Now that I think about it, 'Cop Rock' did have a certain Dartmouth flair to it.

"John Henderson has been spotted on the mainland U.S. recently. Is this a permanent move? Only the sludge creature knows for sure.

"Kathy Boak has a beautiful new baby girl with masses of strawberry blond hair.

"Carol Davis is a busy little beaver. She is now a proud condo owner in the greatest city of them all. Carol recendy ventured out to Bloomington, Ind., where she ran into KatePesak Sackman, Kate's husband, Don, and their adorable little boy Charlie. It appears that one former class president was celebrating her 30th birthday, and these two die-hard groupies made the trek to help her celebrate. The fact that her loyal C&G roommate was excluded from this event is okay I'm, oops, I mean she was not hurt. No way. Never gives it a second thought.

"Anyway, back to Carol. She was recendy lost on the Metro in Paris and began to sing the Dartmouth fight song. Who of all people should come to her rescue but Jill Rizika. Jill is engaged to a great guy she met in one of these three places: at the Woodrow Wilson school, at the World Bank where he worked, or on the soup line. (My source wasn't sure.) "Carol also ran into Eric and Sue ElliottChristenson in Paris. Eric is currently helping bring Mr. Disney's dream to life, and Sue is working in the Paris office of her San Francisco law firm.

"Ernie Brewer is finishing up at Indiana's law school and his ties to London are stronger than ever. Herbie Hardwick is practicing law and raising two beautiful sons in Kansas City. Dr. Linda Jackson is working the swing shift at a Hartford, Conn., hospital. If you are ever in the area, head for the hospital bar that is usually where you can find her swinging. Robin Shafer is a newlywed and is working at the law firm of Latham & Watkins in D.C.

"Finally, in response to Peter's November column, there were many of us who never 'got a kick out of some of the things printed in "The Last Word" or in the letters section' of the Dartmouth Review. For many of us it was very painful to have to be subjected to that paper, and it hurt that so many of our classmates took it so lighdy. Unfortunately, because these feelings and concerns were all but ignored, the paper has since had a tremendously negative impact on a college I care a great deal about. Everywhere I go, on all the campuses of higher education I visit, the question is always 'is Dartmouth really that bad?' If things continue the way they are, unfortunately, many young people 'round the girdled earth' will never come to know the true Dartmouth experience. What a loss, for both the young people and the College.

"It was a pleasure being the guest writer this month."—Tee Lotson
