Things are as crazy as you might expect at Bank of Boston, so I am short on time in which to chase you all. My latest quest led to three really good phone visits, but if I don't start hearing from some of you soon, you may stop hearing from me!

Glenn Anderson returned to North Saco, Maine, after Dartmouth and law school. He practices civil law privately in Hollis Center and keeps up his theater interests by directing and acting in local high school and community groups. He's also on the board of trustees of Thornton Academy, his alma mater, and chairs its employee relations committee.

Howard Bad Hand was in Hanover in October for the twentieth anniversary of the Native American Program at Dartmouththe founding of which was his motivation for coming to Dartmouth. He visited with John Kemeny and other faculty members who helped to begin the program and, in November, returned to teach some classes on contemporary Native American happeningsan aspect of the program which he hopes will flourish and augment the historical perspective with which the program was begun.

Howard and wife Terrie live in Taos, N.M. We laughed over a crack Howard made about their energetic son making up for three mellow daughters, and I warned him about the danger of stereotyping especially since he still works as a free-lance counselor and teacher for his Dakota people and a broader Native American and world family. As he puts it, he works for world peace "by working to change individual perceptions about war" rather than by trying to prevent war itself.

My last phone call reached Dan Chodos in Hollywood. Dan started Dartmouth about seven years older than the rest of us, delayed by his love of acting. His dedication to "the business" hung on but—after a few twists and turns—he is now story editor on "Hunter." He has been with the series for its entire run. For the first five years he was acting and serving as dialogue coach to Fred Dryer. "Hunter" became a good friend and helped elevate Dan two years ago to the story editor position "a pseudonym for low man on the totem pole." Actually, he does a lot of editing, writing and interviewing of the free-lance writers.

Dan and his wife Alexandra Maeck '76 have two children, Hannah 7 and Tobin 5. Alexandra teaches English at Glendale Community College and English as a second language at Garfield Adult School. The Chodos' are in the midst of expanding the house they bought a few years back on the notoriously small salaries of an educator and a struggling newcomer to "Tinsel Town."
