We are all most grateful to Hope Frey for carrying on so valiantly in Al's post as treasurer. When she sent the collection of notes we used in the April issue, she included a copy of the Class Treasurer's Report for the year ending June 30, 1990, the bottom line of which showed total resources of $4,391.30 ($4,296.54 for the preceding year). Many thanks for bringing us up to date, Hope.

Were he still with us, Sherm Adams would, I am sure, be tickled by the winter's television commercial for his creation, Loon Mountain ski resort. "The Great White Mountain" is symbolized by a jaunty and whimsical toy loon, beating a drum and making loony noises while happy skiers look on.

Having spent a good share of this remarkable winter (this is written in mid-March for you to read in May) enjoying the services of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, I plan, God willing, to head south soon for a spring vacation. It would be wonderful if letters from some of you would greet me on my return!
