Students in the Streets

IN JUST ONE WEEK LAST year Dartmouth students volunteered more than 300 hours of their time at nine sites throughout the Upper Valley, according to organizers of Into the Streets, a Tucker Foundation Program. Students helped out with such organizations as the Habitat for Humanity, the Upper Valley Haven, and the Montshire Museum. The organization hoped to better that record this year when it took to the streets during the first week of this month.
