The credit for this report goes 100 percent to BobKimball. Because I was unable to make our mini-reunion I asked Bob to give me a full report of the activities and to give me the names of all who were wise enough to attend.

When I spoke to him on Friday afternoon he was very downcast. The air was chilly and damp and all signs pointed to a bad Saturday. But the gods smiled upon the '46, and Saturday was a lovely New England fall day.

Friday night the Kimballs hosted the class at 33 South Park. Chili, cold cuts, and corn bread were on the menu, and I understand some beer and wine were consumed. After dining the more hardy souls made it to the campus for Dartmouth Night festivities, with the usual great bonfire. Saturday was a "bring your own brunch," again at the Kimballs. After that, over to the gridiron where the Big Green thrashed dear old Eli Yale 39 to 27. This was a 30-to-zip blowout at halftime!

Saturday night the class dined at the Inn. The anticipated joint dinner with the class of 1944 never materialized. They got fancy and went to the DOC, so we settled for room 112 at the Inn, where a good time was had by all. The good time was made even better because of a lack of speeches, save from our esteemed president Jud Hannigan and a bit of humor from Whitey Burnham.

Who was there? These ones were Jud and Grace Hannigan, Jim and Gene von Rohr, Bill and Bobbi DeStefano, Don and Margaret Furber, Tom Adams, Ruth Fitchet and son Sandy '76, Howard and Miriam Schneider, Tom and Mary Cohn, Dan and Kay Fuller, "Tiger" and Ann Vallely, Andy and Win Gruninger, Andy and June Murtha, Jim Barnet, Whitey and Joanne Burnham, Reg and Nancy Pierce, Rosemary Marlette, Clark and June Judge, Robby and Joan Smith, Jack Whitman and Natalie, Ham and Nancy Bailey, Art and Jane Young, Doug and Nance Leigh (Gosh, I haven't seen you since our 25th!), Sam and Sue Johnson, Jim and Arie Lynch, Walt Snickenberger, and Jim Pert. Who did I leave out? The Kimballs! Bob and Jackie. We thank you for once again opening up the gates to your palatial mansion and allowing the masses to enter and enjoy. And more thanks to Jack and Whitey Burnham, our mini-reunion chairmen. Most of all, thank you to all who came to see our Dartmouth again. You made it a great weekend.

Nothing more to report. When you hear from me again the holidays will have come and gone. Enjoy, and write when you can.
