The mini was very successful. Ellie Norton, Betty Sleigh, Bobby White, Radford, Larry Leavitt, Scoof and Gertrude Newton were present Caroline McDonough came in to greet us, then left for Dick's party. We had a brief business meeting in Reed. After the game with Cornell (31—25 Dartmouth) we attended the dedication in Davis Varsity House of the E.K. Hall room. Prexy, Larry, and Dick Jaeger, director of athletics, spoke. Dot Leavitt enjoyed very much witnessing the honor to her father. Next, Larry and Dot put on a fine cocktail party at their home, where we were joined by Larry and Dot's granddaughter Sally and her husband, David, and more relatives. After that Larry and Dot set us up to a sumptuous dinner at Italian Gardens in Norwich. This was a most enjoyable occasion.

In late summer Ellie Norris was adventuresome and visited Cape Vincent on the St. Lawrence, where she was much taken by the scenery. Then she went to Athens, Ontario, where she was much impressed by the art- work on many business houses which depicted the history of the town.

Betty Sleigh joined a trip to the Hudson River Valley, sponsored by her alma mater, Smith College, to view the paintings of the Hudson River School, which she enjoyed for their soft tones and romantic aura. She visited the home of Frederick Churchill, remembering her grandfather's painting by him.

Dick Colton writes to say that his grandsons gave him a big dinner for his 90th birthday at the Pocupino Club in Sarasota. The next day he played a good game of golf with two other grandfathers and a great-grand! Ed Petrequin, Leroy Adams, and Jim Martin sent clippings on Ted Geisel from hometown papers. We will review them in the next issue.

Question of the month: with which Dartmouth relative does Larry share a good bit of fame? E.K. Hall.
