Head agent Larry Leavitt is elated that the class exceeded its $90,000 quota for the fund by $15,000. Much credit is due to our chief. Larry also sent news that Crawford Palmer '93 is playing basketball in France and doing well. Grandmother Crawford must be proud of all the Dartmouth athletes in her family!
Pete Blodgett is chipper but finds fishing poor in Marion; only lobsters are good. Louise was happy to be with him, Put too. Pete is gung-ho for reunion. Remember the mini October 15. The Yale game is at 1:30, and Radford serves his fine libations after game. Dinner as before at the Radisson.
Bud Brown writes from the ranch. He rides frequently with company, and he led a drive of eight prize mules to California. His arthritis bothers him some. Isabell's broken leg healed nicely.
We mourn the recent loss of RichardHolden, William Bunting, Dudley Smith, and Walt von Lehn, and send deep condolences to their families. Dudley Smith kept us informed of the Denver area. He was the oldest classmate after Walt von Lehn died.
Audrey Geisel was bothered by piracy of some of Ted's titles and figures, so was smart to sell rights to them to San Francisco-based clothing outfitter Esprit de Corps. Don't be surprised if you see a Dr. Seuss character on a shirt or sock.
