Dick Jacob writes, "Our 35th Reunion is just a few weeks away, and your Reunion Committee has completed a rich schedule of entertainment, activities, and leisure-time amusements for your vigorous bodies and minds. And look at the time: four days in June (Monday, the 15th through Thursday, the 18th) which we hope will provide a vacation you'll find hard to match for the rest of the summer. . But the ultimate success of a party depends on the quality and the quantity of the guests. The quality is already there; only you as individuals can put the numbers on the board. Join in and add another memory to your Dartmouth experience!"
I received word from Tom Jackson that December 21, 1991, was a big day in his life. That day in Stockton, Calif., he married Patricia A. King, who was a director of development at the Dartmouth Medical School and is now a professional fundraiser for a number of educational and other non-profit institutions. She is an honorary member of '37. Tom went on to say that on their wedding trip to the Far East they visited his daughter Sarah '88 who works as an editor and correspondent for Agence France Presse in Hong Kong. Tom and his bride will be living in Washington, D.C.
John Otis writes, "My daughter Sarah '90 was married this past July to Gus Conrades '90. Sarah being our youngest, we have now educated and married off all three of our children, and Carol and I are looking forward to enjoying our empty nest." John, not only is your "nest empty," I'll bet your checkbook looks a lot healthier now!

We want to nail that $858,000 goal and at the same time reach JohnWhiteley's participation goal of 65 percent. With your help we can do it.
Reg Batholomew, U.S. Under Secretary of State for international security affairs, spent time this past fall visiting New Delhi, India, and Islamabad, Pakistan, seeking to get those two nations to join in a regional arrangement for nuclear restraint. Clearly, Reg is working hard for the U.S. to take advantage of the "window of opportunity" which the collapse of the U.S.S.R. presents for the establishment of a new world order.
