A few years ago SteveColes assumed he was the only '66er in Saudi Arabia. Immediately after that notion was made public, two classmates turned up only minutes away. Well, now Steve is in Oman. Any neighbors? He's an associate professor teaching marine ecology and fisheries at Sultan Qaboos University in Muscat. Really. He scubas, camps in the Oman mountains and desert, and is learning Arabic. Renuka is a second-grade teacher at the American British academy where 13-year-old Devika is a freshman. Sean is a sophomore at California's Occidental College.

Allen Keiswetter is moving somewhat closer to Steve. Allen and family moved to Brussels this summer. A U.S. Foreign Service officer, Allen has assumed his post as deputy assistant secretary general of NATO and is responsible for political affairs on NATO's international staff. Allen, who has specialized in the Middle East most of his career and was most recently involved in negotiations on water issues in the region, is on loan to NATO. Gerda is a teacher, and Sara 13 and Emma 11 are middle-school students.

How many '66-ers have had kids go to and graduate from Dartmouth? We don't know for sure, but we'll initiate research. Meanwhile, here are two more for the list: James W. (Jimmy) Keating III and Mary Beth Keiller. Both were members of the class of 1993.

Jimmy's dad, Dr. Jim Keating, is a New Orleans radiologist and director of the Diagnostic X-ray Department at a Louisiana hospital specializing in spine imaging, magnetic resonance, and CAT scans.

Mary Beth's dad, Al Keiller, is a partner with Arthur Anderson & Cos. based in Simsbury, Conn., providing audit and businessadvisory services to healthcare clients. Jo is a student counselor at Connecticut State Associate Colleges, and Chris, 24, graduated from Fairfield University and is in the insurance business near Chapel Hill, N.C. Coincidentally, Mary Beth's first post-Dartmouth job is with Andersen Consulting in Boston.

Rick King, one of the best freshman baseball third-basemen in Big Green history, is president of Utz Quality Foods Inc., a snack- food company based in Hanover, Pa. Rick is active in the York area serving as a bank director and on the United Way. Estelle is active in church and counselling work. And Rick has turned out two athletic daughters. Alec was an All-American field hockey goalie at Johns Hopkins. She graduated in June. And Lauren excels at tennis, basketball, and track at Hanover (Pa.) High School.

We just received the sad word that TimPaige passed away in early August. Our condolences to all family and friends. More details will appear soon in the Alumni Magazine.
