I apologize to the class for missing the last issue. The deadline fell in the midst of an extended vacation to France, and I didn't have it together enough to track down news prior to my departure. What follows is probably quite dated, but it's news!

Thanks on behalf of the entire class to Merrill Kraines for accepting the job of head agent for our class. Merrill is an attorney with Fulbright and Jaworski in Manhattan, and he lives in Franklin Lakes with his wife, Jeane, and three children.

I know that the "Jaworski" in Merrill's firm is not our own David Jaworski, unless he has given up medical practice for the law. Ski, send some news of yourself (and others) to an old friend!

It's nice to know that we're not past the "classmate wedding" phase. Tom Rheinhart somewhat recently wed Susan Matthews in Napa Valley, Calif. In addition to the vine- yards, the color green was predominant through Dartmouth representation: Best Man Richie Horan, ushers Scott Simons and Chris Danielle, and guests Steve Bell, JohnGleason, Craig Stone, Bruce York (with wife Kim Roseno '77), Craig Reiniger, Marthaand Jim Beattie, and other non-'76ers. I think this definitely counts as a class of '76 mini-reunion!

Barry Arnold has returned from living overseas for seven years and has setded in South Orange, N.J., with his wife, Deborah.

Michael Shnayerson is a senior editor at Vanity Fair, responsible for the "vanities" section. He is married to Cheryl Merser, also a writer, and they live in Sag Harbor.

Wish a happy (late) first birthday to Blair Hopkins Friedensohn, fourth child (but first son) of Peter Friedensohn. Peter, the kids, and wife live in Milton, Mass.

Ben Ayres teaches English at the Grier School and lives with his wife, Stephanie, and son Tyler in a renovated farmhouse in Warriors Mark, Pa. He is looking for other '76ers who are living in central Pennsylvania.
