There have been all sorts of class events in October which I have been unable to plan to attend due to the logistics meaning, in my case, that I couldn't figure out how I might make it from here to there. President Ed Flanders accepted the invitation to attend the Leadership Conference October 7-9. Booked for the mini-reunion combined with brunch and a class officers' meeting at the Hanover Inn October 30 followed by the Harvard game were, in addition to Dora and Ed Flanders, Elizabeth andLane Dwinell, Curly Prosser, Laura Sadler,Joe Tidd, and Rachel and Jerry Sass. Logistics never seem to bother Jerry and his ever accommodating Rachel who never seem to think anything of flying in from California.

Results from the contest to name the mystery photo in the September Campaigner are not yet in, nor for the contest in this month's issue. The donor of the $100 Savings Bond prizes in each case will, of course, remain a mystery.

I regret to report the deaths of Ed Abbott on July 19, Bill Carrico on August 14, and Frank Tower on August 17.
