In the October issue I gave you my impressions of the 70th Reunion. What follows is the official report as submitted by the chairman of the committee, Jerry Sass.

"Overall it was a success. Naturally, our numbers grow smaller as Father Time takes his toll. Wives, widows, and grown children fill the vacancies of original class members. Financially, everyone was handed a statement at "check-out," "balance owed—zero." (Compliments of the class of 1928.) Events were held as planned, not too busy but interesting and constructive. Gifts for attendees found approval. Speakers were excellent. Music program drew high praise. Final general class meeting produced surprising results. Another wonderful memorial service. Thanks, Irv. Detailed comments covering reunion will fill next Campaigner as Lee and Art Kneerim keep us posted with current class news."

SOME REUNION STATISTICS

Attendees included Ed Flanders and Dora, Art Kneerim and Lee, Rachel and Jerry Sass, Ted Baehr, George Bell and cousin Louise Dimond Bob Reid and brother Dick Reid, Irv Engelman and daughter Peggy, Hilda Rickenbaugh and your secretary, Carolyn Berger, Ed Flanders' son John and wife, Jerry and Rachel's sister and brother-in-law, Larry and Helen Tweedy, Barbara McSorley and son Richard. During the past term we lost Governor Lane Dwinell, executive commettee chair, and Jack Zeller, class treasurer. At the class meeting all class officers resigned. George Bell agreed to continue the duties of class secretary until other arrangements can be made to fill the vacancy. Ed Flanders is unable to continue-he needs a rest. Art and Lee Kneerim, fortunately, are willing to edit the Campaigner. Jerry Sass resigned as vice president; however, he will continue to serve as ambassador-at-large to represent the class when necessary. Any volunteers for president, vice president, secretary please contact Jerry or Art/Lee Kneerim or George immediately.

P.S. Like most of us, I am playing the declining years of my life "One Day at a Time." Thanks to "The Little Doctor," I have much to be grateful for. Thanks, also, to my wonderful classmates and friends.

I regret to report the deaths of JimWoods on April 30 and Jim Kilton on July 9.
