A recent letter from Charlene S. Kiley, daughter of Charles H. Sargent, included a list of Dartmouth books from her dad's collection, for which she would like to find a good use. The list is as follows: (1) The College Mind, address, opening of the 162 nd year at Dartmouth by Ernest Martin Hopkins; (2) Athletics at Dartmouth, 1923, by Pender '97 and McPartlin '20; (3) Vol. I, History of Dartmouth, Richardson, 1932; (4) Vol. II of same; (5) Songs ofDartmouth, Gover and Wellman, third edition, 1974; (6) pamphlet, Songs of Sigma PhiEpsilon, 1918; (7) Freshman Green Book for the class of 1920.

"Years ago mother told me that they tried to give them to the library, but the library had plenty...lt would be a shame to just throw them away, especially if they should be collectibles. Anyway, I will continue to hold onto them until such time as someone has an idea of what to do with them."

It occurred to me that someone in the 1920 family might like to have some or all of these treasures. If so, get in touch with Charlene S. Kiley, HCR 69, Box 248, 30 Hueber Drive, Sanbornton, NH 03269.

Thank you for writing, Charlene. Perhaps it will inspire news from others! Faithfully yours,
