The mini in October was maxi in every conceivable way. More than 100 of the faithful classmates, wives, and friends gathered in exquisite weather (nothing but blue skies) for camaraderie and the trimmings, and to watch an almost improbable win over Yale, 14-13, on a last-quarter two-point conversion.

We quizzed some of the troops for a weekend one-liner on any subject, and here are some of the results.

Jack Riley: "At our age, if you wake up in the morning without a pain or a hurt, you're dead."

Bird Partridge: "The older I get, the better I was."

Bob Hirschfield: "I'm not re-tired yet, just a bit tired."

Dick Davis: "We're in a new house on Cape Cod since April, and we no longer need a passport to get onto the Cape."

Boge Bogart: "Dumb or not, I am still working. We brought a daughter-in-law up to Hanover for the first time, and she thinks it's the most beautiful place she's ever seen."

DickMacDonald's wife, Martha-Louise: "I just wish I were 17 again so I could be a Dartmouth freshman."

Arnie Sanders: "Our permanent move from California to New Hampshire was the best move we ever made."

Frank Ames's wife, Carlotta: "Frank has been lovingly building a doll house for his granddaughter, complete with antique furniture, lights that work, a doorbell that rings, etc."

Ben Jones: "Today, this very day, Betty and I are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. I'm the luckiest fellow in the world."

Al and Jean Winkler: "We've got that classic slogan taped to our mirror: 'Today is the first day of the rest of our lives.'"

Ry Robbins: "That cane didn't look very good on Mary Lou, so I bought her a four- passenger golf cart."

Bob Rader: "The only time I ever said no was when I didn't understand the question." Bob Colwell: "Hey, on August 3 I became a great-grandfather. The kid's name is Joshua."

Harry Carey: "I'm pleased to say that I've just been elected president of the Cape Cod Dartmouth Club—a splendid group."

Frank Behrle: "At our age, mini-reunions pack more power than mini-skirts." We've got more, but not the space. Con- tinued next month.

Meanwhile, we want to catch you up on the fact that Dr. Marsh Tenney received a Distinguished Achievement Award at the Medical School's Class Day last June.

Two deaths in September: Rich Morgan and Bob Gurley. Our sympathies.

That's it. Blessings.
