Not unexpected by your scribe because of our thinning ranks and advancing years, the Alumni Magazine has moved 1931 to a _ group of older classes, thereby reducing this column's word limit from 350 to 250. Nevertheless, if for each of the nine yearly issues of the magazine only ten percent of you will send me some news, neither '31s nor I should have any complaints.

Al Jones reported returning to his apartment after considerable surgery, but his note indicated that he was in good spirits.

To a recently reported proposal to make Washington, D.C., free from federal income tax, I'd like to receive responses from classmates Asher and Montgomery.
