The class is grateful to Bernice Cohen for her contribution to the campus, a tree and a plaque in memory of her late husband, Mayo. The tree, an American elm, is planted in front of Blunt Alumni Center, across from Baker Library.

Got a nice note from Ace Miller, who hopes to make the mini-reunion. Try extra hard, Ace we always love to see you. Stan Silverman is "still stunned at the drubbing my play, On the Waterfront, received at the hands of the N.Y. Times and the N.Y. Post, in view of the enthusiasm manifested by the audiences. However, that's show biz. Look forward to seeing you at the mini."

Thanks to Mrs. Frances Hampshire of Coronado, Calif., sister of our late classmate Jerry Fries, for her continued loyalty to the class.

I was glad to hear from George Collins, but sorry to learn that he went up to smash a high lob and came down on his right elbow. Result: a cast for eight months. George is now recuperating with the help of therapy.

Arne Yensen offers his support to John Anderson, after readingjohn's article in the newsletter about his new hometown, Houston. "Don't let the suburbs ruin downtown."

Bob Engelman writes that Vail, Colo., is no longer his and Mary's winter address. Mail to him is to go to One Financial Place, Chicago, IL 60605-1028. Phone (312) 663-2975.

Thanks to Alan Tawse for your kind words please be nice to the other New Hampshire seniors, now that the golf season is in fall swing. And thanks to all of you who have written we'll get to you in the next issue. Hope you all had a good summer.
