For those of you who do not receive DartinoutlMedicine, and we're guessing that more than 90 percent of you do not, we're going to quote from Dr. John Lyle's news in the Medical School news of the class of 1935 (our class of 1934). He lists five living members. Outside of Fran and John Lyle, who live at Heritage Heights, 149 East Side Drive, #131, Concord, NH 03301, there are Mary and Jim Keeley who live in Kendal at Hanover, and Sylvania and Win Watts, who live year-round in Vero Beach, Florida. "Syl" writes that Win gets his exercise by hitting golf balls into a net in their yard. He has not heard from Fred Sanborn or Bill Downing this year but he would like to—Fred and Bill, please write. John did hear from Betts Bishop, widow of Ed Bishop, who writes that she is still flying all over the United States visiting children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.To quote her: "Our number is 23—what Ed and I have wrought!" Mary and Bob Engelman—you're getting competition!
We spoke to Bobbie and prexy Dr. Jack Tobin to find out how Bobbie was doing after her third corneal transplant. She is coming along and both hope to make our mini-reunion in mid-September. With sadness we report the deaths of Arthur Moebius, William Mock, Carl Vickland, John Roberts and my Horace Mann classmate, James Darling. Our sincerest sympathy to their families.
