"News from Beantown" this month comes from a mystery writer. Our mystery writer tells us that Steve Hochman got married in July to Juliet Thompson. Their wedding was in New Hampshire on the same lake that provided scenery for On Golden Pond. Jay Henry got married over Memorial Day weekend to Pilar Tabarnero.

Our mystery writer also tells us that Scott Bertetti graduated from Tuck last fall and is "grinding away" working for CSC Trudex. Greg Brockway, Fred Ludtke and Dave Nerrow '89 all graduated from B-School at Harvard. Dave finished the Boston Marathon at a "blazing" 2:57. Phil Febbo is practicing medicine in Boston. Joe Lafererra (a.k.a. "Giuido") is married, just bought a house outside Boston, and is practicing law with Palmer & Dodge. Thanks Mr./Mrs. Mystery.

Adam Usadi just received an Outstanding Student Paper Award from the Space Physics and Aeronomy section for his paper tided, "Does Chaos Matter?" Adam earned his M.S. in Japan at Hiroshima University and National Institution for Fusion Science in Nagoya/Toki. There Adam performed global 3-D MHD magnet spheric simulations. After returning to the United States, Adam spent a brief period on Wall Street before returning to graduate work at Rice University. Adam's graduate work involves showing how the average motion of an ensemble of chaotically moving particles can be well described by adia batic theory.

News ofEd Sim comes from an article this spring in The National Jurist. Ed is featured in an article on young attorneys practicing international law. Ed is practicing international law with White & Case in D.C. Ed told The National Jurist, "When I came out of law school, I thought I was going to do GATT and the big policy stuff, I soon found out that there are 20 people in the world who get paid to do that kind of work." Still, Ed, your work looks great!

Keep the news rollin' in.
