Early a.m. on a sparkling June day. As I look out my window at blue skies, the moon is like a round cloud in the distance. The antenna on the World Trade Center, which stands miles away, appears to jut above the apartment buildings mere blocks away. It all beats the possibility that the Boss may bring the Straw Man to New York. In better personnel moves, Dico brought the class officers down to Princeton in May. It looks like we will have a mini-reunion/executive committee/reunion-planning weekend in the fall. Barry Weeks, our mini-reunion co-chair, is looking into locations and prices, but chances are it will be in Florida. Classmates are encouraged to bring golf clubs, tennis racquets, significant others, rug rats, and other appropriate gear. More to follow. Fred Crossman's newsletters were applauded, but it was agreed that he should not be so serious. Chip Carstensen reported the treasury was in good shape in preparation for the stretch run for our 25th Reunion. Greg Yadley sent in the report that giving was down a little this year. The College has set up various ways to accommodate giving for our reunion, like an installment plan that you can start contributing to now instead of giving one lump sum two years from now. More will come from Greg and his merry band of class agents. John Burke called in and discussed reunion plans. Help is needed, particularly for the reunion book. Creative types are sought. We could use someone good at layout and someone who could provide the printing. Former yearbook editors are more than wanted. Contact Burkie if interested and plan on the aforementioned mini-reunion as a planning meeting. Others who would like to help with the reunion (remember, this is our biggest one) should speak up now.

News from the B-Man: Bill Schur, wife Donna, and sons Robert and Daniel were in Winter Park, Colo., for some March skiing and ran into Bruce Hansen. Reports were that Bruce was not hurt. Bruce, his wife, Sharon, and their three daughters were enjoying their annual ski vacation in the Rockies. Bruce works for his family business and lives in Wheaton Ill B relayed that five-year-old Robert enjoyed ski school and one-year-old Daniel tolerated the nursery.

In May the Canton-Potsdam Hospital and the American Academy of Dermatologists sponsored a free skin-cancer screening program in Potsdam, N.Y., with Jay Schecter, M.D. He has been affiliated with the hospital since 1984. After Dartmouth Jay went to med school at Penn State and did post-grad work at McGill.

A last note via e-mail to Dartmouth, then snail-mail to me: Robert Rizzi is moving from sunny California to Washington to work in the D.C. office of O'Melveny & Meyers.
