I spent a most interesting afternoon last July enjoying lunch at the Cohasset Golf Club with Charlie Hitchcock, Brad Jenkins, Hank McDuff, and an old friend of mine, Dick Goode, Duke '39. A medical appointment prevented Jack Graham-our newest Cape Codder—from joining us. No... there was no golf, but a decision was made, with Charlie as the "leader," to bring back together for a "last hurrah" all available members of "Fletcher's '38 golfers"...Results in my next column!

According to Jack Karr, Hal Sprague, in Florida, is not feeling too well.. ."Had to give up many enjoyable pasttimes—golf, auto driving, etc." His Dartmouth friends in the region might wish to visit and brighten up his day off and on. Hal's address is 918 Southland Drive, Tavares, FL 32178; telephone (904) 343-0595. Jack and his wife, Marge, have been enjoying life together for 58 years going for 59. "Doctors keep us going—a little glue here and there with pills for lubrication each day." Marge says that Bob Jones is up and about every day and still playing a mean round of golf.

Ol' Father Time has caught up with four more of our classmates... Bill Chamberlin,Gordon Blanchard, George Reynolds, and Tom Roberts. I also received notice of the passing of a beautiful lady well known to many during our days in Hanover...Ann Hopkins Spahr.

Ben Walkley, in registering for the "mini," reports as follows, "I just got back from sailing down the Rhine from Amsterdam to Strasbourg and then three days in Interlocken, Switzerland. I ran into a fellow '38er on the same boat. He was Austin Grant, who was with a bunch of doctors taking the trip and a seminar together. He recognized me by our 50th Reunion white jacket with Dartmouth '38 on it. We hashed over old times and had a good time together. It's wonderful to meet old friends. He lives in Phoenix, Ariz., and had seven children."

From Ann Landers..."A devoted husband is one who stands by his wife in troubles she would not have had if she hadn't married him." Tean says "Amen" to that!
