Dr. Ed Hibler, our licensed family therapist and business consultant from Mariposa, Calif., specializing in stress management, is the author of another exciting new book for the discriminating woman.

Ed writes, "My new book is taking off nicely, especially among our ladies. The Mortification of the American Woman first appeared May 1 and I'm still scrambling to keep up with demand as a speaker and with seemingly endless correspondence the book has stirred up. After more than 15 years of research, writing, and rewriting, at nearly age 80, I finally have something in print which I'm proud of, and which I hope will have some positive impact on the lives of women after I've gone."

This from the Socratic Press of Fresno, Calif.: "Here is a new book by Dr. Ed Hibler, one of America's rare 'male feminists,' which, after years of research explains the historical intrigue and male conniving which have kept women from winning truly equal rights in any social area where her repression began back in the deep mists of history, why, and how it continues into today's supposedly sophisticated American and Western cultures and what's she doing about it."

Jim Sutcliffe called from his summer home on Cape Cod to tell of the three-week trip he and Marion enjoyed touring the British Isles visiting Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, finishing up with a two-day stay in London.

Our new class roster shows several changes of address. Should there be others pertaining to your primary or secondary residences that you have not reported to the College, may I suggest that you do so by contacting the Alumni Records Office. I also would appreciate learning of them as they occur along with changes of telephone numbers. Thank you!

How many remember the following from the Dartmouth Handbook 1934-1935 under "Freshman Rules"? "No freshman may trespass on any part of the campus, or on any of the diagonal walks crossing the campus."

Jean and I wish you all the best for your Thanksgiving festivities. Enjoy! Please write. I close with the following: "It is foolish to worry about what is past." Anonymous.
