Probably Jerry Sass was the kind of guy who got his school work done a day before it was due. Anyway, as our reunion chairman, he has our 70th scheduled for June 27,1998, at the Hanover Inn. Mark your calendar if you have one. He has been in consultation with David Orr, vice president for alumni relations and class reunions, with the object of getting all expenses paid for those attending. This subject also will have been covered in a meeting of the class executive committee scheduled for October 19 by President Ed Flanders.
In further coverage of loyal sons in our class I called Rube Rubin, Hicksville, N.Y., to find out what he might be up to. The short answer is, nothing. But, he doesn't quite qualify for our inactive list. He and his wife still fly down to their place in Boca Raton every winter, long after most of us have given up our Florida retreats as too much of a hassel.
I regret to report the deaths or Bob Winchester on June 18 and Bill Lord on July 7.
