It is a report by Jerry Sass for the reunion committee composed of Curly Prosser, LaneDwinell, Ed Flanders, and Jerry, which met at the glorious Yale game weekend. Dr. C. Everett Koop' 37, will speak at the Friday dinner and Dr. John F. Steel '54, a Dartmouth Trustee for five years, will address Saturday's. Dr. Steel is chief of staff at the Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla, Calif., and a friend of our late classmate, Jack Rose. Jerry reports that as of November 1 there were 24 positive reponses on attendance, ten maybes, and 55 nays. The indicated attendance is at least 47, possibly 60.
The September 30 death of Van van Riper after a brief illness was a shocker. He had just completed a very successful year as Head Agent.
The Skidmore News reports that GeorgeI. Davis has been chosen to receive the Denis B. Kemball-Cook award for dedicated service to that college. He launched Skidmore's first major fund drive in 1973. That's our George. Congratulations!
