Next time you are in New York City, make your way over to the Eastside. Harry Dodds tells me that you will find the office of Peter Eccles at the corner of 43 rd Street and 2nd Avenue. While you are in the neighborhood, come on across the street tor a visit to my office. Just changed jobs at the Episcopal Church Center in anticipation of an "early" retirement on the occasion of my 62nd birthday on May 30, 1998. God willing, I shall pack my bags and leave New York heading off to our 40th Reunion the week following.

Skip Louis wrote recently to tell me plans are underway for our 40th. He is beginning the process of putting together a reunion committee which will be making arrangements for our fabulous fortieth. Make sure that you have set aside the second week in June of '98 for the festivities.

If you are planning a trip or two in the near future, give a call to Bob Dudley in Camillus, N.Y. Bob has a travel agency called Travel Bug of Camillus. Must confess that as retirement looms on the horizon I am starting a travel piggy bank to have the necessary funds available in 1998 for the several trips that I have always wanted to take.

Did you see him last summer on TV? Jim Dougherty was a delegate from the east end of Long Island to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago working on environmental issues for the Clinton/Gore team. By the time you receive this issue of the Alumni Magazine we shall see as to whether or not Jim's efforts were successful.

Anybody know of an employment opportunity for an excellent teacher-educational leader? Bob Kinsey received the Colorado Governor's Award for Excellence in Education this spring and, then, followed that with an early retirement this past June.

Earlier this year, Kent Woodger wrote to John Murphy to inquire if there might be anyone interested in setting up a 1958 "page" on the Internet. Kent is working for Tally Systems Corp. in Lebanon, N.H., and living in New London. Murph has declared him the office class of '58 Web Guy. If you have some interest in this, contact Kent at .
