I am up to my ears in work at a new job and have no time to write this. But I do have time to use the cuta nd-paste function on my computer. Herewith, the quick-and-dirty Class Notes column (with much credit due to the many classmates who sent me e-mail messages): Heather Killebrew reports that Eric Korenman was married in August to Marianna Poutasse at her family home in the Berk shires in August. LisaGame11, Jeff Kauffinan, Rebecca Reese,Kim Tuner, Brian Klett, and Heather were present. Eric is working as a physician in Philadelphia.
Jeff Green '88 sent in reams of material about his friends in the '89 class. After five years in Japan, Hal Sandstedt is now in his second year at Vandrebit's M.B.A. program. Peter Monaco is working hard on a start-up company in Palo Alto, Calif., called Coronacorp. Apparently he's working on commercial applications for computerspeech recognition. Jill Mcclain is working for a consulting company in Washington, D.C., as well as taking classes in Latin American studies at Georgetown. She often sees Anne Board man, who is the chief administator for the World Children's Choir and who is considering various career options involving medicine. Craig Morton is working at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, and has three children with his wife, Karen Redding Morton '88.
Andy Wells sent news of classmates involved in things both global and environmental. Don Eggert was married about two years ago to Nancy Schmaus (of Helena, Mont.). The newly weds went on a one-and-a-half year, around-the-world adventure/honeymoon, to use Andy's description. They started out in Central and South America, then to Eastern Europe, then went through London so they could buy a tandem bike, then to India, where they rode for a couple of months, then to Thailand, and finally Sumatra, where they rode for another month. Now they're in Arizona, where Nancy's going to business school and Don's working for an energy consulting firm. Don's e-mail address is .
Andy saw Tim Burdick this summer while vacationing in Washington, D.C., with Loey Werking Wells, his wife of three years who is a third-year law student at Lewis & Clark College in Portland. Tim is studying forestry at Virginia Tech and is researching trees and global warming.
