News floods in this month from our diverse, successful class. The most notable news comes from Kate Phillips, author of her first novel White Rabbit Ruth Caster Hubble, the protagonist of White Rabbit is 88 years old and going through what proves to be the final day of her life. Kate focuses her novel on the thoughts, memories, and self-delusions of an old person grappling with her life. Between 5:25 a.m. on the last day of Ms. Hubble's life until her death shortly after 8 p.m., Kate puts Ms. Hubble "through a forced march that would tax a 24-year-old." For more information on Kate's book, call (202) 334-4740.

Many of our classmates have gone the investment banking route. Douglas Baird has been named a principal at Alex Brown investment house in Baltimore, Md. DavidHartzell has also been named a principal at Alex Brown, and Frank Comas was named a vice president of Alex Brown. On the West Coast, Kenneth Lang was named a vice president of Montgomery Securities in San Francisco, Ca.

It seems those '88s who haven't gone to the investment houses have gone to the law firms. Matt Woodward recently joined Clark Lander in Philadelphia. Matt received his law degree from the University of Virginia and was employed in Portland, Maine, before going to Clark Lander.

News from the West Coast tells us that Berkeley Law School graduate JuliaFulwyler has just finished a successful season on the professional mountain bike tour. Julia finished in the top ten nationally!

Bill Staro sends news that he has joined Lahey Hitchcock Clinic's Concord Department of Pediatrics.

Keep the news coming and have a welldeserved, enjoyable spring.
