Winner vs. Cancer

In April the Wellness Community of the greater Boston area gave its 1996 Gilda Radner Award to President James O. Freedman. The award recognizes "an individual who has inspired cancer patients through his or her fight with the disease." President Freedman underwent chemotherapy treatment for non-Hodgkins lymphoma beginning in 1994. Subsequently doctors have found no farther trace of the disease.
