Reunion Remembrances "Where are you now?" "Are those your kids?" "You look great!" "We're up next!" As we all begin to unwind/recover from the weekend's travails and prepare for football season, a few things stick in my mind (and, of course, on my shoes). A huge round of thanks should go out to JeffWeitzmann and the other members of the Reunion committee. It was a fabulous weekend and brought back a lot of memories.

Additional thanks to Jim Sapienza,DanGray, Chris McCartie, Mike Fadil, and Dave Lahser for reminding me how slow I was. Mike commented that though he doesn't run much anymore, it's important to look as if you do. I wondered if my profuse sweating qualified as "looking like I do." Speaking of running, Barry Bass finished fifth in the Sunday morning 10K (Jim Sapienza was, big surprise, first) in about 38 minutes. Barry was on a 42 minute pace until he realized he had to return his rented Rolex before 9 a.m. The 38 minute barrier was also broken by Jim Newman, as it took him that long to find his way back to the dorms from AXA. Thanks to ChrisMulligan for making me feel like a pong stud—no thanks to Mikey Lehman for negating that feeling. Thanks to RussMitchell for organizing the AXA luau. No thanks to whoever overserved me.

Reunion was outstanding as it gave us the chance to see old friends and remember how neat some people are who we don't see often.

Good to see folks like Pat Viscardi (Dr.), Pat Connelly (Dr.), Martin Steffen (Dr., Dr.), Ted Meisel (media), BillTyree (finance), Jay Caldwell (art), JohnHolleran (law), Rick Kleeman (banking?), Dan Fagin (magazine), David Searby (diplomacy). Good to see some of the AD guys Thursday night (Guess they knew where the real pong is played) and many more. You might now be saying, "I thought John was so smooth, but it doesn't seem like he knows any women?" Hey, it was also nice to see Kim Steere (publishing), all the Sigma Kappas (I mean, Sigma Deltas), and Jenny Page McCargo. Wish I had seen Scott Erdman, John Hansen,Dan Kelly, Mike Young, and Jack Sylvia. Didn't need to see... (that's not nice). Did it seem like you kept running into a few of the same people? Everywhere I turned, I saw Peter Harned, Amy Durno (Dr.), Cindy Bergman (Dr.), and Andy Osman. Only 75 percent of that combination made sense to me. None of it probably makes sense to Andy.

Anyway, Reunion is over (yeah, no kidding,John) and it's time to carry on. In case you weren't paying attention at the class dinner Saturday night or if you were engaged in the 17 mile walk to the bathroom, here, to the best of my memory, are our new class officers.

All were elected in the closest, most thrilling election to date (really it was time to adjourn and get a chickenburger): Becky Blake president; Kim Bookertreasurer; Bill Budd head agent; MarkStern and Rick Joyce Reunion chairs; Gabrielle Guise and Jeff Weitzmannnewsletter editors; Leslie Dahl, ShellyNadel, and Jack Kerouac secretaries. Mini reunion chair is still open. I nominate Phil "Good" Yazbak. Stay Tuned, for news about Phil Silverman and ChrisHansen.
