Head Agent Buzz Cassidy is hard at work planning his next Alumni Fund '42 campaign after leading us to a lastminute, goal-breaking $300,000 achievement in June. Congrats to Buzz, his assistant agents, and everyone else who helped.

Belated congratulations to Stam and Riki Stambaugh, who celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in Hanover on the second day of Reunion. Bob Schoonmaker, who now lives in Arizona, near Tucson, has made it to every reunion all 11. Retired now for 14 years, Bob says he and Ginny stay busy traveling back and forth to Rochester, N.Y., where he still has lots of family. John and Jean Hill, on the other hand, had not been back for a reunion until the 50th, five years ago. They said they had such a good time then that the decision to come to the 55th was easy. Bob Wilson and Ward Jenkins also decided early so early in fact that they each won a $50 prize for early registration. Bill and Polly Clark should have had an award for coming the farthest to Reunion all the way from San Francisco.

Joe and Yvonne Logan said they still keep in close touch with seven couples from their neighborhood in St. Louis whose children all grew up at the same time. They meet regularly on vacations and stay in touch throughout the year. Who says friends drift apart? Stu Finch is still deeply involved in his life work, medical follow-up studies of the atomic bomb survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He and Pat spent ten years in Japan and now are going to Russia regularly on a similar mission. Jake and Moanie Davis live in Cape Cod and he reports life is hard with his business just 30 feet away, across the road. He says it took 35 years to establish the ideal location. Now he is partially retired from the 60 year-old firm, which makes weather instruments. (Meant to ask him if he could take any credit for the perfect Reunion weather.)

Before closing, congrats are due my predecessor as secretary, Alex Fanelli, who was named this spring as Class Secretary of the Year, only the second '42 so honored, following Proc Page in 1992.
