Lots to report this month: Doug Brockway lives on a golf course in Columbia, Md., with his wife, Lisa (SUNY Binghamton '88), and their dog Charlie. Adam Rabiner sent a detailed travelogue of Jon Feinstein's wedding on Long Island in June. I'll include highlights, and send the rest on to Charlie Wheelan, who has more room in the newsletter. Jon and his bride, Cheryl Levene, grew up in the same hometown, but didn't know each other until they met recently. Cheryl recently completed her M.B.A.at Penn. Jeff Daniels and Deron Ash were ushers at the wedding, which began at 9:30 and ran until 3:30 a.m. Much of Adam's story focused on the food, which sounds spectacular: fruit shish-kebobs, champagne with berries, Chinese dishes, turkey and steak, caviar, lox, and more. And that was all before dinner! The Jewish ceremony included a small program explaining Jewish traditions for the non-Jewish attendees. At the reception Jon read love poems he had written to his bride, and as the event concluded, departing guests were sent on their way with cookies and flowers from the magnificent arrangements.

Sam Braverman's political career has taken off. He was appointed to fill a vacant seat on the Tenafly (N.J.) town council and will be running for election to that seat in November; for a new three-year term. Sam will be one of six council members who oversee almost all town affairs.
