I think I will do this alphabetically by height and geography. Kendrick Wilson, managing director at Lazard Freres, has moved up to vice chairman. Ken runs Lazard's banking, advisory, and mergers and acquisitions business.
Moving slightly to the west, in Pittsburgh, Greg Curtis is taking what he learned during his years as falltime investment adviser to the Cordelia May family (an heir to the Mellon bucks) and using it to help us ordinary people. Greycourt & Cos. will work with clients to establish investment goals, risk tolerance levels, and other criteria and then piece together a tailored, objective investment strategy based on the firm's own research. Greg's company will not, however, actually manage your money. That roles he passes on to money managers that he helps identify and hire. So far, his pilot program in Pittsburgh is working as planned and he hopes to go national and international soon.

The word personifies the character of Dick Glovsky."
E-mail from Bob Shellard described the 50th birthday party in New York. "The 50th Hoo-Hah was GREAT. It was a late night with much wine flowing at The View Restaurant and lounge revolving atop the Marriott Marquis Hotel in N.Y.C., and a super time was had by all. Appearances were made by Stableford, Glovsky, Nyberg, Steve Klein, Bruce English, Jacobs, and Tom Dunn (plus yours truly), each with spouse or significant female other. Glovsky reported 150 people were sighted...but t can't quite account for the other 134...mu5t have been lost in Times Square." As a side note, also turning 50 this year are Tide detergent, Reynolds Wrap, Tonka trucks, Hostess Sno-Balls, and the Magic 8-Ball. Is there a common thread?
