Remember Freshman Fall? How hot the Tower Room was? How hot the bonfire was? How hot your fiance was? What's that? You mean you didn't meet your fiance back then? Well, maybe you did and you just haven't figured it out yet. But Mollie Heath figured it out. And so did her husband-to-be, Tyler Niess. Mollie and Ty, who have been together since Freshman Week, are happy to announce their long-await-ed engagement. "Ty and I are both living in San Francisco," writes Mollie. Ty works as a multimedia producer and new-media consultant with Critical Mass Media Group, and Mollie is a show manager with Miller Freeman Inc., a trade publication house and trade show producer. Her international trade shows cover DSPs a specialized type of semiconductor. "Who knew that my English major and Ty's religious studies major would land us jobs where we discuss things like field programmable gate arrays and networking protocols?" If you would like to discuss these things with Mollie or Ty e-mail them at and . Congratulations and best of luck to you both! I received an info-packed email from Alison LeBoeuf, who is living in Jackson Hole, Wyo., and working for the ski corporation out there. "I moved here in May to work on a dude ranch, and I loved it so much, I decided to say." She sees Craig Gorton, who instructs in the winter, and Spencer Stevens, who "has been living here for a while now, working... in the bio-tech industry, and living in a palace next to a bend in the Snake River." The best gathering of Alison s friends this year was the wedding of Liz Berger and Jordan Fried mail, who were married in New Hope, Penn., in September in a "truly beautiful ceremony." Among the many in attendance were '95s Adriana McGrath and Lauren Lieberman NickySchmidt, Sarah Thomas, Colleen Linehan,Mich Leopold, Lisa Turner, Earl Plante,Todd Modisett, Ruth Mamaril, and '93 Robin Cohen. "I may have missed some," admits Alison. "The wedding was a great time, and I was really glad I made the trip." Liz and Jordan spent their honeymoon in Egypt. Congrats to both of you!! Alison also saw Diane Gardella, JeffMason, and Ryan Victor when she went home to California for a month. Diane is living in the Valley and finishing up her master's at Cal State Northridge; Jeff is up in Santa Barbara just beginning his master's; and Ryan, after finishing law school in Chicago and venturing on a solo trip to Africa for two months, is now living in Santa Monica and working for a big law film in downtown L. A On herwaybacktojackson, Alison also stopped in San Francisco and visited with Kiley Barnhorst and Rich MacDonald, who live in a great place on Union and Polk. "Kiley was training for a marathon she was going to run in Hawaii. While I was there, the place was overflowing with Dartmouth alums: Juliana Chittick was visiting while looking at grad schools, Dde Shinkle and KevinNielson were visiting from New York, and Darin Hughes came out for a beer with us." Darin has been working in San Fran for some months now and is hoping to stay. If you want to find out about any other '94s, Alison is clearly the person you should contact! You can email her at . Thanks for all the info, Alison—you practically wrote this column for me! As for the rest of you, keep your e-mails, postcards, and all other mailings coming. I love hearing from all of you. As always, take care and keep in touch.
