Pittsburgh, Pa., is where you will now find Dick Ray and his wife, Lila. Last fall Dick became the Robert Menelly professor of leadership and ministry at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. It is easy to understand why he has been called to this position when you read Dick's resume following graduation from Dartmouth and subsequently Princeton Theological Seminary In addition to pastorates in Radford, Va., Crosset, Alaska, and Bristol, Tenn., he was a professor in the department of religion and philosophy in the 1960s at Stephens College, Columbia, Mo., and then managing director and senior editor of the John Knox Press, a Presbyterian-related publishing house.

Filling the shoes of John Whitelely is Andy Nichols. Andy wrote John Murphy this winter to volunteer putting together a session for horn players at our reunion next month. If you would like to bring your horn and do some playing, you can reach Andy at or his work number, (617) 248-5015. Love to hear a brass ensemble playing under the tent during our 40th. More than 320,000 items of canned goods were collected by New Hampshire Boy Scouts last Christmas. Under the able leadership of Joe Kabat 10,000 Boy Scouts and 3,000 adults brought the canned goods they had collected to 20 National Guard armories across the state. Thanks to Joe's efforts, many Granite staters enjoyed a Christmas dinner that they might not have otherwise had.

There is still time to join your classmates in making our 40th Reunion gift to the College a record-setting $1,500,000. Early reports from Walt Vail indicate that the goal is well within our reach. If you have not done so already, join the leadership ranks of your classmates by making a gift of $1,958 or five times last year's gift.

After three years of retirement, during which time he made it through his wish list, Dave Dingman has re-entered the world of 9 to 5. Dave joined the staff of Interplast Inc., which provides free plastic surgery for deformed kids overseas. Look for Dave at our 40th to learn more about this fascinating new chapter in his life.

Look forward to seeing you in Hanover June 15-18.
