All ready for summer? Around our household we're busy (at this writing) moving less than a mile from where we've been for the past five years, to horses-and-pool property, so by now we're really into summer which, by the way, is one of Seattle's best-kept secrets (it's dry!). Our new address is below.
Dick Krant reports that our class's Tucker Fellowship sponsorship has changed, and we'll now be supporting Marjory Deward '00 at the International Refugee Center in Chicago. Among Marjory's responsibilities will be tutoring Cambodian and African children at an after-school program, developing activities for the after-school class, working with an adult learner on ESL, and assisting with Fundraising for the children's program. Dick will be setting up a mentor program from among our class living around the Chicago area, so look for his call!
Dale Heussner's e-mail update (he's ) notes that daughter Ki Mae is in the freshman class at Dartmouth (making that '02!) and is in the female a capella group called the Rockapellas, on the top row, third from the left, in the picture in The D from last fall's Homecoming weekend. Check it out on the web at , another great way to "keep in touch" with the College.
Have a safe and fun summer. Keep writing and calling!
