Change seems to be the theme of this Class Notes column. Not only am I taking over for our class secretary Monica Oberkofler while she is off at Oxford, but also it seems many of you are going through some changes of your own, from new jobs to new locations to new life mates.

Word of Meredith Cornell's engagement finally reached us. From all reports, she will be marrying a fellow teacher and coach from the Fresno area in August. She joins, among others, Lanea Eschmeyer and Bridget Canniff on the newly engaged list.

After his lengthy stay in Italy, SpencerGarrett has now returned stateside and is currently residing in San Francisco. Also on the move is Scott Lassonde, who's still working at GE Capitol and will be in Barcelona, Spain, until late summer. Carrie Bagshaw recendy switched coasts, doing the counter-migration from Southern California to Boston. Carrie is working for Fidelity as a trade specialist and recently bumped into Andrew Bender, who is still hanging out in Hartford, and Jason Casavant, who is still at Maine Law School.

Lauren Currie recently quit her job at Bain in Boston and moved to San Francisco, where she now works at Gap's corporate headquarters in their strategic planning group. She helps create the marketing strategy for all of Gap's divisions nationally and internationally, including Banana Republic, Old Navy, Gap, Baby Gap, and Gap Kids. Also in northern California, Trudy Muller is now public relations coordinator for EA Sports, which is the leading interactive computer game company in the world. Trudy gets to talk all day to magazine and newspaper editors and deal with sports games for the PC, Sony Playstation, and Nintendo 64.

And then there are those of us who haven't changed much at all, but whose activities are still worth mentioning. Kathy Domingo is still at Indiana, where she's finished up her master's degree and has started on her doctorate, which means "it'll be another three years before I am rescued from the cornfields and farmlands of southern Indiana."

Brian Crawford has finished up his M.A. at the University of Wisconsin and is currently working at the Wisconsin Department of Revenue while he looks for teaching jobs. Brian tells us that Mobina Hashmi is also at Wisconsin in her first year of graduate work at the school of communication arts.

Michael Roberts is still on track to graduate from the Boston University School for the Arts with a master's degree in vocal performance. Michael's also keeping busy working fulltime as the manager of graduate admissions for the school for the arts. Despite his busy schedule, Michael wants to "apologize for not keeping in touch with '965." We'll forgive you, Michael, now that you've written in. Let that be a lesson to all of you who still need to get in touch with us. We hope to hear from you soon.
