Ted Dodge has checked in from the Pacific Northwest. He married Amy Ralston two years ago in Seattle, and in 1998 completed a four-year fellowship in interventional cardiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Ted is now back in his hometown of Yakima, Wash., in a private cardiology practice. Amy and Ted welcomed baby Katie this past June. Last summer they met up with John Steele, his wife, Joann, and daughter Jackie. John is an actuary with Watson-Wyatt in Connecticut. Ted also heard recendy from LanceMeyerson, who is married and is an otolaryngologist in private practice in Florida.
I also got an e-mail from Suzanne Pence. She spent nine years after graduation in N.Y.C. working for J.P. Morgan, then moved to Australia in 1996 to manage their Australian and New Zealand investment management division. This June she married an Aussie, David Webb, in Kennebunk, Maine. Classmates at the wedding included Jeff Bower, who is a dentist living in St. John, New Brunswick. He has a son and a daughter and is very involved in his local youth hockey club. Maria Nisi Stutt was also there, and Suzanne reports that she lives in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter Alex, and is expecting twins in October. Other Dartmouth guests included Stephanie Semprevivo Ferguson 'B6, Burgie Howard 'B6, Krista Thomas 'B6, Nancy Obler Kaufman 'B9, and Michael Pence '93. Apparently the party turned into quite a competition between the Aussies and Kiwis and the Dartmouth folks to see who could party the hardest. Suzanne is searching for other Dartmouth alums in Australia and New Zealand and hopes to establish an alumni club Down Under. Finally, Suzanne mentioned that she keeps in touch with Marie Trexler, who lives in San Francisco and works for the mergers and acquisitions department at Intel.
In Chicago, Sharon Flanagan and husband Ross Buchanan are the proud new parents of Elise Flanagan Buchanan, born July
