Governor Jeanne Shaheen has appointed Wendy Muello to the N.H. Board of Medicine. Wendy specializes in internal medicine and has maintained a practice in Lancaster, N.H., for more than ten years. She has three children: Nathan, age 11; Molly, age nine, and Nora, age five. RickKimball has been named to the board of Applied Science Fiction, a pre-IPO intellectual property company that creates innovative technologies to facilitate the transition from traditional photography to digital imaging. Rick is the co-founder of Technology Crossover Ventures. He was previously a managing director atMontgomery Securities. Nancy Freedman has been elected a principal of Sasaki Associates Inc., an interdisciplinary planning and design firm in Watertown, Mass. Mary Thron has been elected director of the Northern New England Society of Enrolled Agents, one of two Maine directors. Enrolled agents are licensed by the IRS to represent taxpayers at all administrative levels. Could come in handy sometime.

Bill Devine has joined the Walnut Creek, Calif., firm of Miller, Starr, and Regalia. In addition to his corporate and institutional real estate practice, he is the author of Men, Women and Money. ScottChronert has been made a managing director at Salomon Smith Barney.
