The Middletown, Ohio, Habitat for Humanity selected the Rev. John Keeny and spouse Susan Keeny to co-chair its ninth annual fundraising banquet, which makes sense since its being held at the Christ United Methodist Church in Middletown where John is the senior pastor. John attended Yale Divinity School after Dartmouth and served in churches in Dayton, Columbus, and Camden. He's worked on Habitat projects in New York City and in Middletown. John's also participated in mission trips to Central America, Jamaica, and West Virginia. In addition to her church activities, Susan, a Cornell alumna, is a self-employed, Yale-trained architect active in the Wilson Parents-Teacher Organization and in the Friends of the Dayton Ballet.

A belated but happy report from San Francisco that Saul Levy and spouse Sue had their first child, Jacob Jonathan Levy, on July 31, 1998. Always the competitor, Saul thought that Jacob might be the youngest '73 child but he conceded that Brooklyn residents Allan Kraus and wife Lynn were expecting twins. I offered to Saul the consolation that he and Sue currently held the record in the "western division."
