We are sad to have lost Jim Collins '84 as the interim editor of the Alumni Magazine but look forward to becoming acquainted with our new editor, Sean Plottner.
Russ Goudey's daughter, Jacquie, wrote us news about her father, who is now living with her and her family in Foxboro, Mass. In spite of failing eyesight he is able to maneuver the walker around his new environment, and would enjoy hearing from classmates anytime between the hours of 10 a.m. and midnight at (508) 543-7578.
Frank Foster's widow,Petey, died Sept. 3.She and Frank had lived in the Hanover area since Frank retired from The Lahey Clinic in Boston, where she was active in community affairs and her church. She carried that with her to Hanover, where she remained involved in many activities.Petey grew up in St.Johnsbury,Vt., where her grandfather, Franklin Fairbanks, founded the Fairbanks Museum. Her son, son-in-law and three grandchildren are Dartmouth graduates, including Whitney Spaulding '89, owner of Wheelock Books in Hanover. Petey was a dear friend and will be greatly missed.
