John Pope was awarded the Schenck Shaft as the best golfer (the shaft was all that was left of Pete's putter after the second round of golf). Our well-organized mini-reunion chair, JohnGillespie has now retired from the Parent's Fund and has moved to Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Before leaving Hanover he reminded us that the holiday luncheons will be in Boston at the Pillar House on December 13th and at the Yale Club on December 14th. Mark your calendars. Dick and Jane Page's daughter Catherine (an exchange student at Dartmouth in 1982) married Shannon Golden in San Francisco the weekend of the golf outing. John and Sandy Gillespie represented the class.
