Bill Wyman writes: 'Ann and I are fine. She still is the exciting person I met 35-plus years ago singing in a stylish Boston nightclub; runs art shows, paints, climbs Mt. Cardigan, plus has time to make sure I eat healthy food and exercise daily. I start each day with a thankful prayer."

After a visit by Gerry Kappler to try to decide her future from the big house she rattles around in, Ray Builter saw Bill Gray, Ross Woodbridge and Jerry Wertz '35 at Dartmouth lunches in Sarasota. Jerry wrote: "I with pleasure anticipate meeting with Laura and Ray Moulton '35,T'36, in Portland and driving to Hanover. My last visit was in 1940 when Anna and I were on our honeymoon. After a perfect marriage of 58 years Anna passed on November 19,1998. Our three children keep Dear Old Dad busy."

In May Bob Button was made a Melvin Jones Fellow, named for the founder of Lions Club International, its highest recognition, for "dedication to making the world a better place through humanitarian service." And he was one of two graduates inducted into the Columbia High School Hall of Fame in Maplewood, New Jersey, as a role model for fellow students and for his dedication toward the betterment of society. Bob never stopped!

At Class Day Janelle Ruley received the Class of '36 Award in remembrance of Phil Mcginnis. Her grandfather was Frank Curtis. Both classmates are now gone, a matter of humble pride for all of us.

Bill Niss s wife, Hilly, died of a stroke June 22. A memorial service held for her in Maine was attended by Betty and Boyce Price, Ross Martindale and Phyllis England. Our class roster now lists 181 alumni and 148 widows. Blessings.
