Greetings. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago that I was writing the class newsletter. How quickly 20 years go by. For those of you in attendance at our recent reunion, the memories are probably still vivid, and for those not in attendance, I hope you've had a chance to spend a lot of time looking at the wonderful reunion book edited by Sara Hoagland Hunter. From personal experience, I can attest that this will provide hours of fascinating reading. The reunion book is one of many notable achievements of the class, the class officers and the various committees that put together the tremendous weekend in Hanover. Departing class president Mike Feasel chose well when he tapped Judy Burrows Csatari and Julia Miller Shepherd to act as co-chairs of the reunion. They put together a terrific weekend from start to finish with the help of their committees. Sandy Helve coordinated a recordbreaking class gift (in excess of $2.8 million). We also managed to break attendance records in the process. All in all, it was an experience for the ages. I'm sure Steve Bell will have greater detail in the class newsletter.
Fortunately, to start, the College has sup- plied me with some news of our classmates. I'll be relying on the rest of you to supply me with news in the future. If you don't, I'm not guar- anteeing any of the key bits of information that may show up. First up is a note from the April 9 Portland, Oregon, Daily Journal of Commerce with a headline "CAR (Commercial Association of Realtors) names Brad Fletcher industrial broker of the year." Brad, with Grubb & Ellis, last year topped his previous personal record of $62 million in gross sales with more than $93 mailion (in excess of 1 million square feet of leased space and the sale of more than 275 acres). Congratulations, Brad.

That wraps up my inaugural edition. Please keep me supplied with news of yourself and classmates. My wife, three daughters and I are now well-acclimated transplants to North Carolina. We've been here three years and love it. In early July we went to a Rod Stewart concert with Bob Goodman and his wife, Joanne, after having met them at the reunion. Listening to some of the Rod Stewart tunes made 1972-1976 seem not that far away. Keep those cards, letters and e-mails coming.
