Updates are slowing to a trickle. Juan Carlos Serna spent his summer vacation hiking the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island with Lauryn Zipse '99. "It's a beautiful trail that outlines 70 kilometers of the island's coast. The trail traverses the oceans shelf and adjacent woods with the help of many ladders, boardwalks and pulley carts. Wildlife found on the island includes bald eagles, sea lions and an occasional cougar and bear."

Catherine Passano wrote in with updates on several people including herself. She marries Seth McDonnell in late September in Baltimore and then honeymoons in St. Lucia (as suggested by Marene Jennings) and sails through the Grenadines. Leigh Lucas Woodworth and her new husband, Graeme Woodworth (Tufts '97), are moving from San Francisco to Baltimore, where Graeme starts at the Johns Hopkins med school this fall. Danielle Guthrie is marrying Dr. Teddy Johnson 94 on September 8 up in Hanover (and at the Episcopal church right next to Theta Delt—yikes!). Their home post-wedding will be NYC, where Danielle works on the derivatives desk at Goldman Sachs and Teddy is a veterinarian. Also, Dune Thorne is engaged to Neville McCaghren with the wedding planned for next spring/summer. Dune and Neville recently purchased an apartment in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where Dune just started at Harvard Business School along with fellow '98s Jojo Blaxall and Mariam Malik.

Colleen O'Connor is living real life ER. She's doing trauma surgery rotation right now at Vanderbilt Medical Center and moves onto pediatric school grad Jessica Ellsworth was in D.C. this summer studying for the bar and has moved south to Norfolk, Virginia, to start her clerkship. Jen Karlen married Grant Elliot in Hanover on August 25.

Adrian Durbin has been working since April as campaign manager for a Massachusetts state senator who is running for Congress. "The race is to fill a congressional seat vacated by the death of a man named Joe Moakley, who had been in Congress for nearly 30 years. The election is on September 11, so I'm really busy these days. It has been quite a learning experience for me...as of now, my candidate is in second place in the polls."
